On Ron’s Amazing Stories it is Western week and all our stories have that old west feel Including the Five Minute Mystery. Listener Gary Richards asked me to revisit a story from years ago called Stampede Messa and then we head to Fort Laramie to hear Captain Quince’s encounter with Yellow Horse at an officer's ball.

Featured Story - The Stagecoach

Our featured story comes from the classic OTR series Fort Laramie. Captain Quince is faced with a troubling problem. Yellow Horse is being held in the stock house for murder and his followers want to break him out. At the same time, the women of Fort Laramie are holding an Officer’s Ball that Quince is ordered to attend. Our tale is called The Stagecoach and it first aired on April 14, 1956.
