On Ron’s Amazing Stories this time it is all about the ghosts. We have two stories from you guys that just might be some of the best that we have ever had. One is about a haunted home, the other about a shadow that is quite grabby. Our featured story comes from the creative mind of Robert Aurtur who just happens to be the genius behind the radio series The Mysterious Traveler. We end the program with a Johnny Is It True that is part ghost tale and a part history lesson.
Featured Story - The Haunted
Trailer
Our featured story for this week comes from the
active mind of Robert Arthur. Who was he? Well, Robert was the
writer and director of the OTR series The Mysterious Traveler. This is one of my very favorite radio dramas
and the episode you are about to hear is a big part of why. We have
had ghost stories before, but not quite like this one. Imagine a
ghost with a chip on his shoulder and wanting a new place to haunt.
Long comes Melvin McGraw in his brand new travel trailer and
insanity ensues. The story is titled The Haunted Trailer and it first aired on June 3, 1952.
Other Stories Include - Rocky Stebin’s Alibi, The X-Files: Cold Cases, My Haunted House, The Hand Under The Bed, The Haunted Trailer, and Johnny Is True - Ghost edition.
Program Note: Here is the link to the episode of the Mysterious Traveler that I spoke of on the show. It is called Behind The Locked Door. Also, if you want to view the drawing that FearFiest made for his story The Hand Under The Bed you can find it here.
