On the podcast this week we have an interview with a very special guest, A story from America’s favorite western called The Big Con and another short story from O. Henry. You just can’t make this stuff up. Our OTR story for this episode on Ron’s Amazing stories comes from… you guessed it Gunsmoke. If you read this week’s blog you knew that already. What you don’t know is that the story tells of a real life con-game that was used over and over again. It comes from second season and was a popular episode. The script was reused several times during the show’s run. It is called the The Big Con and first aired on May 16, 1953.
