Our story for this episode comes from a series that is brand new to the RAS. It is called The Amazing Mr. Malone. It ran on the NBC network from 1947 to 1951. John J. Malone is a Chicago lawyer who also runs a night club. His adventures are all named after clichés such as: Cleanliness is next to Godliness, A strong offense is the best defense, Seek and ye shall find, and so on. The stories are told in the old film noir format and are quite gripping. Also, I found the dialog to be almost as good as my favorite detective drama, Pat Novak for Hire. Our tale for is called Hard Work Never Hurt Anyone and first aired on June 22, 1951
